Expectations, in the Norvadi Style
Soon, there will be need
To travel again, to go
To places I don't know
Wherein the people
Know not the name, or habits
Of me or my kind
Company is sought,
Some known in advance, others
To be ascertained
And there will be a
Reckoning of a kind we
See but rarely here
A long fall into
Darkness and then a rising
Into the new light
Or so, at least I
Hope - and expect others, too
To aid me in it
For once, a lasting
Difference to be made there
Something to bring home
